Our parent company, Continental AG believes we should all share in the success of our business and, whilst not guaranteed, each year they award a bonus linked to business performance. In 2014 eligible employees (employees who have been employed for the full year) received approximately £780 which was paid out in April 2015.
Death in Service Benefit
Employees are automatically given Life Assurance cover from the first day they are employed. Their nominated dependants receive 4 x gross salary in the event of death in service.
Continental is of course known for their world class tyres and all employees can take advantage of the discounted scheme of up to 12 tyres per year.
For employees with children who require childcare, a voucher scheme is offered helping employees save on their annual childcare costs.
If you live within cycling distance of your place of work and want to take up the “fit” way to commute, then the Company can offer you the chance to take out a salary sacrifice loan to purchase a brand new bicycle from Halfords. Repayment of the loan is taken in installments from your monthly salary. Entry to the scheme is made twice a year.
